Recently, Digital Tapestries’ Founder, Hart Ginsburg spoke to Universal Cinema Film and TV Journal to discuss his short film “Healing”. “Healing” has been selected by the Toronto Independent Festival of Cift as the Best Experimental Short in their August 2021 competition. Hart is a psychotherapist focusing on existential and narrative approaches. He hopes that the film “provides our viewers an experiential journey of reflection and existential discovery.”
Hart’s film is a collage of images of people on the street locked in moments of thoughtful reflection surrounded by an urban environment. The combination of music and the sparing use of vocal narration leads the film to create a peaceful space of quiet moments. Hart intends to build this work into a trilogy that, as stated by him, “builds on these disparate existential themes of our times,”.
